What I said is:

*IF* you claim that unbundling and charging separately *caused* RDi
adoption to increase, *THEN* you are ignorant, shortsighted, or
disingenuous. And "you" there means anyone.

I also implied that if you (again, anyone) use that argument to
*justify* policy, then... some unflattering things.

The fact is, I have always said (1) for most people, adoption of RDi
would be a net gain in productivity, (2) that gain in productivity
justifies its price, and (3) IBM is free to handle pricing and
distribution however they want.
