No I don't avoid it because of fear of the unknown, but because I can write the same code myself which will immediately be understandable to any other competent RPG programmer. For the one in a hundred occasions where the cycle would be suitable, I don't see the point of using it just to save a few lines of coding. After all, we are not C programmers here!
