If you already have an RPG written, use the QMHRDQM API instead. This does
NOT remove the data queue entry.

Yes, but... now I've o RPGLE that with QRTVDTAQ receive the DTAQ's records
and write that in a PF in QTEMP.
At the end of the retrieving record the QTEMP/PF are displayed and after
cleaning.
The problem is that when I retrieving the record with QRTVDTAQ the record
are deleted from the DTAQ; I need only displayed and not delete the record
from DTAQ.
My OS/400 is a V4R5; there is the DSPDTAQ utility in this release?
Thanks

Oggetto: Re: DTAQ question....
If you just want to see the contents of a data queue, and aren't worried
about making the display look user friendly, then as a quick measure,
DMPOBJ the data queue, and you can see the contents in a spool file.
Otherwise, in early releases of OS/400, there was a DSPDTAQ utility shipped
in QUSRTOOL that would do this. Otherwise, you would either need to get
hold of a similar utility, or write an RPG program to receive the contents
and write to a subfile.
