Hi,

I tried changing codePage=273 in IBMi.kmp for IBM i ACS and also changed
it under communication- configure- host code page - 273 Germany.

and then tried various ports as well like 23,992,2222 but each time I got
the same error here.

Thanks

Hi Tim,

I'm guessing it has to do with CCSID/Codepage. I use TN5250J, and the
codepage setting is <Default>, and I have no issues.

I noticed in a previous email, where you provided both the Mochasoft and
iACS settings, Mochasoft did not appear to have a ccsid/codepage
setting, but your iACS configuration shows:

codePage=037

On pub400.com, the system value for QCCSID is 273.

Try changing your iACS configuration to

codePage=273

If that works, then the remaining mystery is why ftp does not work.

FIrst of all, the usual port for ssh is port 22. 23 is the Telnet port,
22
is the ssh port.
Secondly, pub400.com uses a custom port. The correct command is ssh -p
2222
myuserid@xxxxxxxxxx
