If your user name and password are both still valid, then it is obvious
that your keyboard settings are not emitting the characters you think they
are.
The emulator character settings are EBCDIC. ssh is not EBCDIC, it's
typically ASCII. In both contexts you are unable to enter your password.
That indicates it's your keyboard/locale settings.
I am guessing that your locale settings are not us-en. Somehow in MochaSoft
the keyboard is set correctly, but in other contexts it is not.
As a pub400.com user, I do not believe that there is anything wrong with
pub400.com.
