Paul,

I found the issue.
At the point of the restore, DST password is default, which is QSECOFR.
I was keying in the actual DST password.

But, I had to shutdown, no command access to issue the CHGDSTPWD PASSWORD(*DEFAULT).
Live and learn.
And I had to initialize the load source, AGAIN, for a second time, another 3 1/2 hours.

Paul

Paul--

You should be able to reset the DST password without a complete shutdown.

As QSECOFR: (You must be QSECOFR, not a QSECOFR-look-alike)
CHGDSTPWD PASSWORD(*DEFAULT)

This should put it back to QSECOFR (or is it qsecofr? I forget)

When trying to enter DST, DST password became disabled.
Had to shutdown to reset DST password.
