Windows is unstable PERIOD.

My co-workers are Microsoft Dot-Net developers. My next door neighbor had to reboot his PC 3-times to get it to work.

They seem to reload Visual Studio every so often. It take over 3-times as long to load Visual Studio compare to RDI. Makes me really appreciate RDI in comparison. Have a minor problem? Restart RDI and solved in 10-seconds. I only do a restart of 1-2 a week. No biggie to me.

So, as a brain-washed Microsoft Developer, he blamed the HARDWARE.

The other Microsoft developer chimed in, and said that they "NEED" to have a new Laptop every 2-years. Because they "burn-out" the CPU, from all their work.

They said that, how do you Know it is NOT an Operating system problem with windows?

If it is a hardware issue, why does a reboot fix it? That tells me software, not Hardware.

Then they blame the hardware vendor for "bad drivers", but have no proof on that. Gotta love the Microsoft developer mindset. :P

But, what do I know about Reliability? Maybe something about a stable hardware called the IBM Power System.

They are constantly rebooting their Microsoft servers to clear cache and/or a memory leak or whatever. And they brag how great Microsoft is compare to others.

I will probably one day drink their Kool-Aid, and join their racks. I am outnumbered anyway. :P I only the RPGLE in my Department.
