A scroll bar is one word.  One.  Equating that to rewriting an entire application makes no business sense.  Of course if you have 25-year old subfiles then there's more to it.

As to the DOS comment...  That's a false equivalency.  Today's hardware isn't DOS hardware, and neither should the software be.

But yes, I use Notepad ++ pretty regularly.  Why do I use Notepad ++ instead of Notepad?  Enhanced features, plain and simple.

By the way...  David may be offended about text-based remarks. After all, these midrange lists are entirely text-based, right?

You are just providing more scaffolding and excuses not to move to a modern
interface and making the platform look old and outdated into the bargain.

Would you write a program for any kind of actual widespread business use
that ran in DOS on a Windows PC ?
