We also have a 3581 tape drive and 727 gigabytes on our 820  P30.  We were
up to 68% dasd utilization and still used only 1 tape for our backups  Our
tapes are supposed to hold 200 gig compressed.  That would have put us at
about 500 gig on one tape.

We're running at a 23 day cycle for dailies, 5 weeks for weekly & about 3
years on monthly, and a permanent annual.
