        Subject: Delete Records -File Re-org

I was looking for ways to save space on the system, and found a large
number of deleted records in files. I suggested to run re-orgs on these
files during the week end, and was told that this doesn't 'really' save
space. I always thought that it did. Does Re-orging a file give space back
to the system? Or was the space available anyway.
Thanks,
Phil Kestenbaum
