Phil: This brings up an interesting dilemma for you. I would document in writing (email to boss or memo to file) that you think the files should be reorged to save DASD. If you run our of space it will be the manager who must make the justification to management as to WHY you need more (and with JDE you ALWAYS need more). Good luck working for an idiot is not easy. :) CJG Carl Galgano EDI Consulting Services, Inc. 540 Powder Springs Street Suite C19 Marietta, GA 30064 770-422-2995 mailto: cgalgano@ediconsulting.com http://www.ediconsulting.com EDI, Communications and AS400 Technical Consulting -----Original Message----- From: pike4@ix.netcom.com <pike4@ix.netcom.com> To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Date: Thursday, February 17, 2000 5:21 PM Subject: Re: Re: Delete Records -File Re-org >Which brings up a non-technical issue, what if that person is your boss, do you open this can of worms?
