Well, we are using IBM's Tivoli Storage Manager to back up all of our
PC's: individual and server.
There are actually hooks to use TSM to back up IBM i. I've not studied
them. I've just got this fantastic comfort level with either i OS or BRMS
backups. Of course, our IT help desk has a good comfort level with
Tivoli. We serve TSM on Linux on Power 6.
