By the way, I think my 403 Forbidden errors might have been cause by:
1. Using FileZilla FTP Client to move folders from my laptop to the IBM i. I think FileZilla messes up permissions when it creates directories in the IFS.
2. Making various changes in the HTTPAdmin page without fully understanding the changes. I am new to web server administration. It’s possible that I messed something up without realizing it.
These two are not mutually exclusive.
If one or both of these were the cause, it would explain why I no longer had problems after I created a fresh instance of the HTTP Server (with no admin changes) and used IBM Access for Client (ACS) to create new directories and upload files in the IFS.
