I wish to add to Claus' workload. :)He understates the support on this product. You find something that is broken or not working right, you tell them, and pretty soon you get an e-mail with a fix. I believe it is the most personal attention I have ever received from any organization, large or small.

Hi Justin, there are several big applications written in VARPG, the largest that I know of, is from an Italian ISV, SanMarco Informatica. SanMarco has written their ERP package in VARPG for the frontend and RPGIV for the backend business logic. They have a couple of hundred VARPG modules and they have several hundred customers that run their Galileo ERP package in production, so we know VARPG scales. If you encounter problems with VARPG, just contact IBM support, it is a fully supported IBM product and if there are bugs that need to be fixed open an APAR.
