The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

My own rule of thumb is that sales people and managers get GUI; the user
training involved, the fragmented/interrupted attention spans, the
elaborate drill downs and fancy summations, and the sparce data entry
all lend themselves to GUI.
On the other hand, retaining tribal knowledge, day-in & day-out
repetitive data processing, and layered processing all fit in neatly
with text-based solutions. imnsho.

It’s really unfortunate the stigma against 5250 sessions. Everyone has their own opinion about it. I actually like it. When it comes to serious data entry, a well-designed 5250 screen smokes their GUI counterpart.
