It's all about the appareance. As you said, HDDE is much faster on 5250
than in any other interface. I do some joke every now and then with
collegues at work, and every time their point-and-click fail against mi
green-sreen and fast finger.
A couple of years ago we installed a (good) web converter to a customer,
who would like to avoid the 'green screen' effort. Commercial find it
great, order-loading people spend twice the time.
Talking of a different matter, RDi is much better than PDM....
