i already interactively tested this command and it gives this result:-

echo
'u3VtNgfyWU9faZc3Iaa8ZWbE5UZCfmC17yA4MyW0ghflt9dNQNDpCcgMZiG/kXPE4vv2CHL
93B4iKiODHxxdVA==' | openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -K
363631653237354f494d31554
c594c4a -nopad -nosalt -base64 -A

707fbe32-0dbc-41e0-888f-5bc40de8c20d2P9AMPCTQ4CZ ¢

and yes i am expecting variable encodedExchangeToken to pass this value
'u3VtNgfyWU9faZc3Iaa8ZWbE5UZCfmC17yA4MyW0ghflt9dNQNDpCcgMZiG/kXPE4vv2CHL
93B4iKiODHxxdVA==' to openssl command and write the decrypted value in
defined stand alone variable string1 which is already defined in my program
i just put.txt so that it should also write the same value as a stream file
in my directory path '/home/i0rs01hu/string1.txt' as well
also i don't have that ! i do have | only not sure while pasting that code
from editor to that link how did it get changed.

This is the command you told UNIXCMD to run.
echo encodedExchangeToken!openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -K

Run that interactively and look and see what it says. For starters, you
have a ! instead of a | unless that is simply translation issues. Next you
are passing the literal value encodedExchangeToken. I suspect you want to
pass what is in that variable in your program instead. Lastly in your
debug session you are trying eval a variable called string1.txt, but you
don't have that variable in your program anywhere. You did try and tell
openssl to put the results it gets into a file called string1.txt in your
RPG program, but the program doesn't know anything about that.
