if i put single quotes then get below error:-
/free
cmd = 'echo VAR1 |openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -K Q+
363631653237354f494d31554c594c4a -nopad -nosalt -base64 -A
-out string' ;

Message ID . . . . . . : RNF0267 Severity . . . . . . . : 20

Message type . . . . . : Diagnostic

Message . . . . : Character literal has missing trailing apostrophe;

trailing apostrophe assumed.

Cause . . . . . : The character literal is missing a trailing
apostrophe.
The trailing apostrophe has been assumed. If the character literal
contains
DBCS data, the DBCS data is not properly enclosed by a pair of shift-out
and
shift-in control characters. A shift-in control character followed by
an
apostrophe have been assumed.

Recovery . . . : Specify a correct character literal. Compile again.

2) I even tried by hard coding token value and then tried to decrypt it
using below code still it's not getting compiled:-
...
cmd = "echo VAR1 !openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -K
Q+
363631653237354f494d31554c594c4a -nopad -nosalt -base64 -A
-out string" ;
Instead of posting your entire program, please just post a few lines
including the error messages from the compiler.

For example, if you had posted this:

16 /free
17 cmd = "echo VAR1 !openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -KQ+
======> a bbbb
*RNF0604 20 a 001700 The token is not valid; token is ignored.
*RNF5377 20 b 001700 The end of the expression is expected.

then we could have easily seen that the problem is that you have used "
instead of '. RPG doesn't support double-quotes for strings. You have to
use ' instead.

cmd = 'echo VAR1 !openssl enc -d -aes-128-ecb -KQ+
