I figured some stuff on youtube would refer to WDSC, so this search string

wdsc ibm site:youtube.com

brought up more stuff, including a number of videos from Joe Pluta on WDSC basics, in 2012.

I think there are a couple levels of learning curves with RDi - one is finding your way around Eclipse itself - what is a workspace, what is a perspective, etc. There is material on that in the help within RDi. And on that opening welcome perspective that is always available from the Help menu.

Searching Youtube for 'Rational Developer for i' returned a few
results. Newcomers should spend some time with Welcome, which comes
up immediately after installation. One can also see that via Help >
