Kyle, This looks to be a problem with the precision of the intermediate results. You've got two divisions in the formula so there is an intermediate result being used for the second divide. Check out 'Precision of Intermediate Results' in the RPG IV reference manual (page 429 in V5R2). Try changing the formula to be: eval(h) 5.2field = (9.2field * 100) / 9.0field because X/(Y/Z) = X*(Z/Y) If necessary break the formula up into two separate evals: eval(h) 11.0field = 9.2field * 100 eval(h) 5.2field = 11.0field / 9.0field Paul -- Paul Morgan Senior Programmer Analyst - Retail J.
