Yes, alot of them are using the newer techniques with new projects, but they're not going to blanketly convert all thier code like Hoss did at his shop just to force the programmers into the new paradigm du jour. Yes, I know there's alot of good tools out there like Linoma's RPG conversion utility to convert old RPG into new and even free format... But alot of folks are still adopting the concept of 'if it ain't broke...' And for them, it's a cost/benefit issue to retrofit... And for many, the cost/benefit is that it's cheaper to buy new than convert! ...but that's another can of worms for another day when I'm not behind deadline... Don in DC
