It's more than your priviledge: it's your right to express your
opinion!

That is literally true, but watch out when top management starts
thinking that a programmer is equivalent to a watt-hour.  You'll be
just as interchangeable and expendable as that anonymous energy
resource is.  Better to make sure your management is very much aware
of the value you personally add to the company - value that another
'resource' can't readily provide.
