A shot in the dark, but, is the file previously opened in the job stream?
If so, I don't think the override will have any affect. The file will need
to be closed and reopened.

Subject: Ovrprtf with QCMDEXC

If I override a print file with QCMDEXC right before I call a program
that uses the print file, is there any way that override wont be seen by
the program that gets called?

I'm overriding the file to a certain outq but I am receiving the spool
file in QGPL/QPRINT. I'm suspecting the override isn't being seen by the
program I am calling. I have verified that the file is overridden
correctly right before I call the program. Any ideas?
