This can be based on a few things: 1) The activation group(s) involved. 2) The call stack involved. 1) Are you using ILE? 2) You did say you are using QCMDEXC. So, if you are doing call myclpgm call myrpg1 call qcmdexc to do OVRPRTF call myrpg2 Then it may work. But if you do call myclpgm call myrpg1 call qcmdexc to do OVRPRTF exit myrpg1 and return to myclpgm call myrpg2 I don't think that will work. Any chance you could change MYRPG2 to make the file USROPN and do the override in there? I'm overriding the file to a certain outq but I am receiving the spool file in QGPL/QPRINT. I'm suspecting the override isn't being seen by the program I am calling. I have verified that the file is overridden correctly right before I call the program. Any ideas? _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
