No, it is one of those arguments that makes you wonder why it wasn't
developed with the functionality to throw programmer defined errors vs. just
compiler errors.  I am guessing it was time constraints.  Regardless, they
need to know what we want otherwise we will get TestB type functionality vs.
more widely used functionality.  

Our comments to the RPG compiler team might not always be the most
constructive though;-)

Didn't the expression go "It's the squeaky wheel that gets discarded."?

I am sure they are planning improvements to the language.  They have the 
last several release and I am sure they will continue to do so.
