I don't believe EVAL has a continuation indicator. As far as I know, it moves to the next line without any indication to do so. If it is a continuation indicator, it must serve merely as documentation because I've coded many multiple line EVAL statements without using it. Maybe Peter should try placing a negative sign in front of the 500 and see if it is subtracted from the 502.34 as expected or added. If it is added, the second plus is converting the sign. It is subtracted, the second plus is being ignored. Donald R.
