Not at all Ron.  There's a lot to learn with RPG and I suspect the schools
have to make choices as to what they teach.  Teaching you roll-your-own
logic must take quite a bit of time to do well.

On the other hand, why not take the plunge?  Spend 15 minutes of your own
time and learn the cycle.  You might be surprised.

I think Doug has posted the definitive message regarding the use of the
cycle. I think this message should be archived somewhere and _anytime_
the cycle comes up and is disparaged, this message should be thrown at
the poster.
