Yes Ron, you should retire.  Especially since you will not learn anything
that they did not teach in school.  This industry moves too fast to not
learn different techniques.

So Doug and Jeff, Anyone that has learned RPG programming after 1995 isn't
a
competent programmer since they didn't teach the cycle in school when I
went.  I guess I should retire then.

I think Doug has posted the definitive message regarding the use of the
cycle.  I think this message should be archived somewhere and _anytime_
the cycle comes up and is disparaged, this message should be thrown at
the poster.
