> Sorry, not in my job description. The very fact that you do you job either adds or detracts from the popularity of the AS/400. How you do you job shapes others opinions of you and the platform you work on. It is sad that you have no loyalty to a great box, and even more sad that this is this case obviously with many in our industry. It is funny that when you look at some of the most popular platforms you see nothing so reprehensible as fence sitters. Folks either love or hate Winblows, love or hate linux, ( hate unix :) but with the AS/400 people who should care just don't. This kind of attitude which permeates our corner of the computer industry is a slap in the face to people like Brad Stone, Bob Cozzi and Robert Tipton who actually do care and are working to change things. And from the response to those efforts there are a good many out there who would like to see things change. -- L. S.
