I recommend setting up two variables of date type D FIRSTDATE S D DATFMT(*MDY) INZ(*LOVAL) D LASTDATE S D DATFMT(*MDY) INZ(*HIVAL) This will work. Also when IBM changes the date window all it will need is a recompile. Even better would be to put it in a service program like %mdyDate(ANYDATE) Chris Bipes wrote: > > Test the date for GT 12/31/2039 or LT 01/01/1940 after the TEST(D) before > the move. > +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
