Why not change the screen to show the FULL date? NO chance of confusion then. No extra coding involved except a simple move and doing the change to the DSPF. If you don't have the space to add the 2 characters, then you probably have an over busy screen that should be simplified. To me the date window is not a Y2K solution, it is a band-aid until the real solution can be done. It pains me to see people who show a 6 digit date and say they are Y2K compliant. It is a real bugger trying to enter a date that you want to be 12/31/9999 and the program takes it as 12/31/1999. Then you have to figure out why everything is expiring when it should not be.
