You've got me beat by four years and a few machines; I started in 1976 on a S/32, then S/34, S/36, AS/400. I took advantage of the IFxx and DOxxx opcodes as soon as they were available on the S/36. Even though I don't do a whole lot with actual ILE features, I write all new RPG programs in RPG IV and love the free format EVALs, IFs, DOWs, and DOUs. I wish I had the CF spec right now! I could sure use for some of my long expressions! Bob, not all of us long-time programmers are hiding under the rocks. Some of us are out basking in the sunshine of the enhancements that we've got now, and looking forward to more! Bring on the CF! Bring on the BIFs!!
