You approve of technology segregation and you wish you didn't have that segregation ?

I'm not 100% clear on your position other than I think what you're trying to say is you perhaps want everything on IBMi perhaps ?

Very few shops run purely on IBMi these days.

I have a 30+ yr fondness for the IBMi and 24 yrs of development history on the Windows platform and it seems the IBMi only days are pretty much gone now.

Now it's about integration. Integrating multiple platforms is more the norm and it would be nice to see teams work more together.

Would be interesting to talk with your team and hear reasoning.

I approve of that difference; I wish I worked in an integrated shop.
