Hello Roger,

Wishes/good intentions of a hobbyist versus intellectual property concerns of a multi-billion-dollar corporation?

I don't get why there are concerns at all. My request is about publishing unaltered documentation which has been publicly available earlier. I'm not talking about Source Code or Application Programs which are frequently withheld because the former may reveal security issues and the latter is where the money comes from.

I fail to understand where there is any real harm done. I don't count "losing control about publishing" as being harmful: I'm not the only one who copied those documents when and where they were publicly available, free of charge. Second, there are many more non-IBM sources on the net providing public copies of documentation.

I think we know who wins this one.

To win means engage in a fight. I don't want to fight (a legal battle), because using the legal approach means I'll loose because copyright is a fact.

:wq! PoC
