Well, but we also know occassions where this actually worked out. Release of MacPaint sources, or Lisa source code, or Word 1.0, or similar stuff, for CHM. All sourced from (other) multi-billion-dollar companies. But CHM reported a sometimes multi-year long quest to achieve that. And they have a reputation (no offense, Patrik, but your name may not be well-known in the hallways in Armonk - yet).

To proceed, you’d either need a "known-brand" in terms of org structure on your side, and/or (preferrably: and!) a patron within IBM. I fear that only the latter may not be enough.

Don’t want to discourage you, but expectation management is also important ;)
