You could get a better trace (and much easier to read/decipher) if you just
tried it with MAILTOOL and MAILTOOL Plus. We offer free keys just for
this. You'll be able to see clearly exactly what Google's server is saying.

I would offer to do it myself but I believe when using the gmail relay you
need to tell it what IPs the emails are coming from and that won't work on
my end.
