I didn't mean anything negative to your service. But I had heard one of
the cloud vendors mention power consumption before.

Also, as a disclaimer, I did try Holger's service a few years back before I
got my Power 8 41A and he was very responsive and helpful and I was up and
running a trial in literally an hour, even my website. The only issue was
the cost vs purchasing with an IBM Developer discount things just worked
out better to purchase over 3-5 years. For production, it for sure would
be worth it.

Next time I may go to the cloud, though. I'm getting to the point where I
feel that the sysop tasks are better taken care of by someone more in the
know than me. :)

It is not about electricity (which is one of the smallest part of the
calculation).
Most cost is about services like load PTF, or correct configuration errors
in case of customer played around (when they want to use *secadm) etc.

A small 41A is drawing about 200VA which is not that much if you
only need to take care for electric power and can do the rest
by yourself. Then (i need to admit this as a hoster)
hosting is not for you :)

It is tough.. but then again you save on electricity. I don't know how
much my system pulls. :) But one of the hosters says it's a lot. I'm
sure it's a selling point.
