Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

The line is now varied on successfully.
However, the Ethernet Controller and Device that are normally auto created did not create.

What am I missing here?

ETHAGG VARIED ON
ETHERLAN01 VARIED OFF
ETHERNET01 VARIED OFF
ETHERTCP01 VARIED OFF

Initially for testing, I'm only using two ports on the same switch.
According to the article, this should work, correct?

<The ports to be used in the aggregate line must be connected to an EtherChannel capable switch or switch pair. When using a switch pair the attached switches will need to be configured in a Virtual Link Aggregation Group (VLAG) also known as a stacked switch pair. Your network administrator will need to enable the switch ports to use EtherChannel in a static configuration with Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) off.

Your Aggregate Policy needs to match whatever is configured on the switches
it's plugged into.

Last time I did this it was to a stacked pair of switches and my policy was:
AGGPCY(*ETHCHL *DFT)
but we have moved in the direction of using VIOS and SEA to do this stuff
rather than doing on the i so much so it's been a while.

Here's a useful article on configuring aggregate lines that might help:

Created a ETHAGG, two resources, CMN08 and CMN09.

Line will not vary on, goes to failed status.

Any thoughts from the group on how to trouble shoot this.
