My theory is that if you're going to be putting on any PTF's you may as
well grab the whole cume and all groups along with it.
If you're behind on the BRMS group then it's a pretty safe bet you're
probably behind on the hiper.

Here's the summary from IBM BRMS development.
- When an operation needing a tape resource runs and needs a tape
drive the tape code will attempt to reserve a tape drive. If it

youtape library and plug in her vacuum cleaner, does she?
You might want to call IBM. Because, short of making sure that
thathave the latest MF* ptf's to go along with the card supporting
thatdrive, ensuring the card is in the best slot for that, ensuring
1600you're not dynamically moving the card from lpar-to-lpar to do
backups, and a few other things, it's getting tricky.

firmware, I checked.
