The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Sounds like it should be an easy hookup to the database then if they have it documented.
Just make sure you account for downtime scenarios as were mentioned.

subject: Re: Mitsubishi PLC interface to AS400 Data Tables
By goggling on MESITTRNSDB2 I found this
http://www.automationint.com/productos/descargasProductos/PSG_%20NETWORKS.pdf
and on the last page it says " Data Transport Method: Databases Oracle
10g, 11g; Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005; IBM DB2 8,9; *IBM DB2/400
V5R3*; Local DB"
For ports it could be DDM/DRDA ports
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/index.jsp?topic=%2Fddm%2Frbae5ports.htm
it could be a port for software they provide on the AS400.
I would really check with the vendor that sold you the product and see
what they can provide you.
Good Luck
John
