I concur Joe. I haven't written any Java code when using EGL. And I am not sure where the Unix piece comes from. I deploy to Tomcat so I don't have to mess with WAS. I am a single person shop and I am not exactly overwhelmed by using EGL (it actually can make some app development pretty darn simple).

I am not interested in starting a "my tool is better than your tool" argument but I am curious where your information came from Trevor.
