Which camp > your iSeries resides in makes all the difference in whether you > migrate your apps to .NET or have nothing to do with it. Did it ever occur to you that IBM is (thru many channels) speaking to many communities within the iSeries. We just got major CL enhancements. We are still getting major RPGLE enhancements. IBM has added non Websphere tools (like Websmart) to the Official Roadmap. We still have net.data. We have cgi & sockets tools available. PHP coming (or is it here already). For years (long ago) we complained bitterly about not being able to talk to other technologies. Stop complaining when IBM makes the platform more integrated! btw - iSeries Network speaks for their paid advertisers and the writers who contribute. DUH !! jim franz
