What has to be said is that IBM has decided to no longer compete in
the Windows centric network sector. If you run a business and are
chosing a software application, you chose one that runs on Linux/AIX
or you chose the one that runs on Windows. If you program web sites,
you either program in asp.net or you work in PHP. Your in one camp or
the other. IBM has decided to be in the Linux/AIX camp. Which camp
your iSeries resides in makes all the difference in whether you
migrate your apps to .NET or have nothing to do with it.
