Call IBM and get a hold of a sales guy, their whole job is to convince
people that they need IBM's services. That said, you get software
upgrades, and you get phone support, which I use quite a bit to solve
problems more quickly.

I am being asked by the CEO to justify the cost of the Software Support
contract.  It was a fight to get the Hardware support paid.  Can anybody

me with links to information on the need for the Software support?  I am

Is there a spot on the IBM website that explains what Software support
is?
