Joe, No lie ("you'd think one would turn it on). Unless there is some kind of reset button or something (?) Do you have a maintenance contract on the UPS ? We have GREAT support here (Indianapolis) with the ones we are using. And they are the ones that figured out our wiring mess in less than 5 minutes ! Who makes your UPS ? IBM came in (but of course it had stopped issuing the message 30 minutes before that) and checked the power being received at the 620 and it shows as 212 which should be OK I guess. Then he leaves and 20 minutes latter it is doing it again... Still waiting to hear from the UPS folks. I know its 4 years old, but it failed during the brown-out period a good minute before the full black out. The UPS was completely useless. When the power came back, the UPS was dead (power was up for a good 5 hours before I could get in the office). I just received new batteries today, put them in, and still dead. I am stymied. There are only two buttons on the unit, you think one of them would turn it on. - Joe Lewis
