I know its 4 years old, but it failed during the brown-out period a good minute before the full black out. The UPS was completely useless. When the power came back, the UPS was dead (power was up for a good 5 hours before I could get in the office). I just received new batteries today, put them in, and still dead. I am stymied. There are only two buttons on the unit, you think one of them would turn it on. - Joe Lewis from: "Chuck Lewis" <clewis@xxxxxxxxxx> >subject: AS/400 - UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Question >Get ready for this; life has been fun around here <BG>. >. >. >So our CE was wondering if maybe the External UPS had to charge up its' >batteries (recently, 2 months ago, replaced) before it would send a strong >enough feed to the 620.
