Hi Folks,

I know the "historic" and auditor approved standard for daily tape backup
rotation has been 21 days. We just got the 3581-H23 in and it can go 400GB
compressed on a single cartridge. This compares to the 7GB on the 9427 8mm
drive we currently have. The cartridges also go for around $111.00 so I am
being asked to ascertain we need 21 days, and would 14 be OK, etc.

What is everyone else doing ?

Thanks !

Chuck
