Very doubtful it would help (since you auto-config'd everything):  Vary
off/on control unit??  Vary/power off/on, mebbe??

Since CUD appears to be buggered, are any messages (on QSYSOPR) regarding
the control unit helpful a-tall??  (Ahhhh..... luv-ta deal with hardware
problems...;-)
