Sound good but we heavily use conditional text as well as merge in paragraphs base on field values. These are very complex documents with multiple format and font changes. Where can I learn more about you DGB/400 product? Christopher K. I've migrated what was left of our S/38 and OV/400 letters to use our in-house version of that instead. Of course it depends on how complicated your letters are - we didn't make use of conditional text (not sure if EDTTXT supported that) so tweaking it to do mail merge wasn't difficult. We've now been able to drop our use of the S/38 utilities (dfu, edttxt & qrydta) and save a bit more on licensing the next time we upgrade.
