Fiona When using the SAV command for IFS backup you can specify that oyutput of what was save goes to either *PRINT, a user space, or an IFS STMF. The latter 2 have the distinctly nasty problem that the object and directory names are in Unicode, mixed in with EBCDIC (and hex) for the rest of the stuff.
